Peter Rothbart admits to wearing a sequined tuxedo during his two national tours of the US and Canada in the 1970s. He currently directs the Ageless Jazz Band, an 18-piece Big Band and is a music columnist for the Ithaca Times. Rothbart taught electroacoustic music at Ithaca College for 40 years, played bassoon with the Binghamton Philharmonic for 37 years, and sax with Nik and the Nice Guys for 43 years. He’s pretty sure the sequined tuxedo still fits….sort of…
